The most attractive part of Aakash Tablet is its price tag. It can be considered as the cheapest laptop in the world. While high end tablets like iPad 2 and others are offered at Rs.45,000, this tablet is offered at Rs.2,500. The huge difference between the price tags of these tablets has bring much hype to this tablet. This tablet is the basic or low end one having less functionality. Of the late, this tablet is intended for enabling the students to get introduced to the world of technology through tablets and hence the features are in that proportion only.

Also, Aakash Tablet is having Wi-Fi connectivity, which is a good feature. This tablet runs on Android operating system of the version v2.2. So, this tablet provides scope for downloading favorite apps and most useful apps for the students.
