Recently, Samsung has come up with another tablet under its Galaxy Note series and this new tablet is having eight inches screen size. It is already known fact that Apple has released iPad Mini, an eight inches screen sized version of its popular tablet iPad. Since both of them share almost similar screen size, it is interesting to compare these two tablets:

Display: iPad Mini tablet from Apple has been provided with screen size of 7.9 inches. It has got display resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels. LED backlit IPS LCD type of screen can be noticed on this tablet which has got capacitive type of touch sensitivity. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 510 tablet has been provided with 8 inches screen size and its display resolution is 800 x 1280 pixels. It has got TFT type of screen and capacitive type of touch sensitivity.

Processor: Samsung Galaxy Note 510 tablet is powered by 1.6 Ghz quad core Cortex A9 processor and Exynos 4412 chipset. It has got graphics processing unit of Mali 400 MP. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version of operating system. Apple iPad Mini tablet is powered by 1 Ghz dual core Cortex A9 processor and it is having Apple A5 chipset. This tablet runs on iOS 6 and is upgradeable to iOS 6.1.3.

Camera: Coming to the aspect of camera, Apple iPad Mini tablet has been provided with 5 megapixels resolution camera on the rear side and 1.2 megapixels resolution camera on the front side. Galaxy Note 501 Tablet has been provided with 5 megapixels resolution camera on the rear side and 1.3 megapixels resolution camera on the front side.

Memory: RAM provided on Galaxy Note 510 is 2 GB and it comes in two memory constraints i.e. 16 GB and 32 GB. It has provision for expansion of memory. RAM provided on Apple iPad Mini tablet is of 512 MB capacity. It comes in three memory constraints i.e. 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB.
