Google after witnessing successful in the mobile operating system domain and in smart phone section, has now entered the tablet market also. It is going to release its first tablet by name Google Nexus 7 Tablet. This tablet will be priced at $199 and will be in markets by mid-July 2012.
This new tablet from Google is expected to become a major competitor for iPad from Apple and also to Kindle Fire from Amazon. This Nexus 7 tablet will have screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and the screen will support HD. It weighs 340 grams.
Google Nexus 7 Tablet will be powered by Tegra 3 processor having quad core 1300Mhz specs. Front facing camera will also be provided on this tablet so that it will also be useful for video chatting also. Regarding connectivity features, this tablet is having decent specs. This tablet has been provided with support NFC, which is called as Near Field Communication. Bluetooth is also enabled on this mobile. Wi-Fi internet connectivity options can also be used on this tablet.
Obviously, this Google Nexus 7 Tablet will run on Android operating system. It will be having support to Android v4.1 version of operating system. 7 inches is the screen size of this tablet. Capacitive multi touch screen will be provided on this tablet. RAM provided on this tablet is of 1 GB capacity. Also, the internal memory provided on this tablet is 16 GB. For graphics, it has been provided with NVIDIA Ge Force 12 Core GPU. It will also be available in 8 GB variant. Battery capacity will be 4325 mAh and it will give standby time of up to 12.5 days or 300 hours. HD video can be played for 9 hour continuously before recharging the device. As said earlier, the price of Google Nexus 7 Tablet is $199.
